CoreSys Consulting sponsored the latest Women in AFCEA (WIA) event for the AFCEA Gold Vault Chapter in Fort Knox, Kentucky. Headlining the event was guest speaker Jenean Hampton, the Lt. Governor of Kentucky. Ms. Hampton spoke about her career journey – first earning the rank of Captain in the Air Force before moving into the private sector and eventually starting a political career. Ms. Hampton also spoke about women in IT and shared her passion for encouraging women to enter both the IT and Manufacturing fields.
CoreSys CEO, Brian Cordle, was pleased with the event’s turn out, and he considered it an overwhelming success saying, “We are very thankful to Ms. Hampton for joining us today to share her story and her message. Everything went off without a hitch, and we couldn’t have done it without the AFCEA and CoreSys volunteers who generously donated their time.”
The free event took place in the Signature Room at the Saber & Quill on Fort Knox. Future AFCEA Gold Vault Chapter events can be found on the AFCEA website: https://ftknox.afceachapters.org/index.php.
